An inexperienced Virginia police officer pulled into a cul-de-sac in Riverside and parked close to the house of a teenage girl he had met online while posing as someone else, according to the police.
According to neighbors, the man alternated between his car and the house on Friday morning as he waited for the 15-year-family old’s to arrive home. Police received a call about a young woman getting into a red Kia Soul with a male driver who appeared to be upset. The home caught fire after neighbors heard argumentative noises.

Yesterday a Walmart Supercenter in Chesapeake Virginia became the location for the third high profile shooting in the last two weeks, and only second in the last four days. The shooter killed six victims, and hospitalized four others, before taking his own life. The police arrived on the scene at 10:14 p.m., just two minutes after the first person called 911. By 11:20 p.m the police had the entire store cleared out.
3 Dead, 2 Injured in Shooting at University of Virginia
A former University of Virginia football player suspected of killing three football players and wounding two other students on campus late Sunday night is in custody after a manhunt in Charlottesville, Virginia, police confirmed Monday. During a news conference Monday, University of Virginia president Jim Ryan said three Cavaliers football players were shot and killed: junior receiver Lavel Davis Jr. of Dorchester, South Carolina; junior receiver Devin Chandler of Huntersville, North Carolina; and junior defensive end/linebacker D’Sean Perry of Miami.
Depp vs. Heard Trial Verdict
After beginning deliberations on Friday, the jury in the defamation case between Johnny Depp and ex-wife Amber Heard continued on Tuesday.
