Half Moon Bay Shooting: 7 People Killed, Suspect in Custody
At least seven people were killed Monday in a mass shooting at two farms in Half Moon Bay, California, authorities said. One person was also taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. All victims – seven men and one woman – were adults, authorities said. The victims were of Asian and Hispanic descent as well. The suspect has been identified as 67-year-old Chunli Zhao. Workplace violence is believed to be the motive for the shooting.
Shooting at California Church
At least one person is dead and 4 are critically injured after a shooting in a Laguna Woods church on Sunday. The shooter opened fire Sunday afternoon at the Geneva Presbyrerian Church in Laguna Woods. At the time, members of the church were hosting a Taiwanese congregation. Authorities said the victims injured in the shooting included four Asian men, ages 66, 75, 82 and 92, and one Asian woman age 86.
Brooklyn Subway Shooting Updates
Updates continue to flow in following a mass shooting that happened on the subway at 36th Street Station in Brooklyn, New York. The shooting left 30 people injured, and the city frightened. However, none of the injuries were life-threatening.

UFC Fighter, Kevin Holland, Uses MMA to Help Apprehend a Gunman in a Houston Restaurant
Kevin Holland, a UFC fighter, and his MMA training partner, Patrick Robinson, heroically apprehended a gunman who opened fire inside a Houston sushi restaurant on Monday night. Fox 26 reported that while training in Fort Worth, Holland and Robinson were eating at RA Sushi in Highland Village. During their meal, an armed man ran into the restaurant and shot at the ceiling.
