Calvin Harris Announces New Song ‘Stay With Me’ Featuring Halsey, Justin Timberlake, and Pharrell
Last Wednesday, DJ and producer Calvin Harris took to Twitter to announce a collaboration with music big stars Halsey, Justin Timberlake, and Pharrell. The collaboration will be part of Harris’ forthcoming Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 as part of the album’s third single, Stay With Me. According to Harris’ announcement, the song is ready to launch next Friday, July 15.
Harris also announced the slew of other artists that are set to feature on his upcoming album including Stefflon Don, Chloe Bailey, Charlie Puth, Pusha T, Shenseea, Tinashe, Normani, Lil Durk, Offset, 6lack, Coi LeRay, Busta Rhymes, Latto, Swae Lee, Jorja Smith, and Snoop Dogg, per Billboard. As for Halsey, Timberlake, and Pharrel, it is the first time ever that these stars will share a stage together, although Timberlake and Pharrel have joined their talents on more than one occasion.

Eminem, “The Real Slim Shady” rapper, took a knee during this weekend’s Super Bowl. The rapper performed alongside Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, and Snoop Dogg during the halftime show. At the end of his performance, he dropped to one knee and hung his head low to pay homage to San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Kaepernick took a knee during a San Diego game during the National Anthem to bring awareness to police brutality and racial inequality. Kaepernick taking this powerful stance started a movement of athletes kneeling in protest.

A little over twenty-eight years after releasing his debut album Doggystyle, Snoop Dogg has recently acquired ownership of the same record label that helped him start his prolific career. Death Row Records was founded in 1992, by Dr. Dre, Suge Knight, the D.O.C, and Dick Griffey. The record company quickly gained popularity all over the world, releasing albums for local, west coast hip hop and R&B artists.
